Justin & Eileen Kawaler

Justin Kawaler was born to a father from Eastern Europe and an American mother. He flew B29 bombers in World War II and later retired from the Air Force Reserve as a Lieutenant Colonel. Later, he turned his New York family furniture business into many highly profitable furniture stores and real estate properties. Later, he formed the Kawaler Family Charitable Foundation so that he could give back to the community that had helped him become so successful. The Foundation gives support to organizations in need in New York and Key West.

In 2020, following the death of his first wife, Justin Kawaler married Eileen. Their combined family includes two sons and two daughters and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Eileen Kawaler has served on the board of the Boys and Girls Club of South Queens and in Key West and served as President of the Key West Women’s Club from 2007-2009. She remained active with the Key West Woman’s Club helping to distribute funds to nonprofits in the Keys.

Justin and Eileen Kawaler also support students who attend The College of the Florida Keys through scholarships provided by the CFK Foundation.
