Sallie Mae Dream Scholarship Program

Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) and The Sallie Mae Fund offer the Completing the Dream Scholarship to provide financial assistance to students attending accredited post-secondary institutions. This scholarship is designed to support students who are nearing completion of a two-year, four-year, or vocational/technical certificate program but are at risk of not completing their education due to financial hardship or unexpected emergency expenses.

Award Amount: Up to $2,500

Number of Awards: Varies by application cycle.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Be enrolled full-time or part-time at an accredited post-secondary institution or continuing education program, including: Two-year colleges, Four-year colleges, Vocational/technical certificate or certification programs
• Be on track to complete a degree or eligible program within the timeframe specified for the current application cycle.
• Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75.
• Be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
• Demonstrate financial need or an emergency situation that may prevent continued enrollment or program completion.
• Demonstrate leadership abilities and good moral character.
