The Tuga Leadership Fellow Scholarship
Spring 2025
The Tuga Leadership Fellow Scholarship is awarded to CFK Bachelor’s degree students who demonstrate exceptional leadership, passion for the community, and a collaborative spirit. The Fellow must participate in a minimum of 3 hours of activities a week (Monday-Friday) or 45 hours per semester for the division of Advancement by representing students on the CFK Foundation Board and interacting with donors, community partners, and alumni. The student will acquire leadership skills by working closely with the VP Advancement and Director of Advancement.
Award is up to $750. Students must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours for the awarded term, must be currently registered in a Bachelor’s degree program, have an average GPA of 3.0, and have a completed 2024-25 FAFSA application.
Scholarship recipients are also required to:
1. Confirm registration in courses at CFK in the term in which the scholarship is to be used.
2. Complete a minimum of 8 hours of volunteer service to the CFK Foundation and/or approved charity if requested. (Details will be sent separately if/when applicable.)
3. Attend the Annual CFK Scholarship Recipient & Donor Social at the Tennessee Williams Theatre on the William A. Seeker Campus in Key West during the Fall semester. The event will occur on Tuesday, September 30th, 2025. Invitations will be distributed closer to the event.
4. Demonstrate and maintain the scholarship criteria and requirements.
The Foundation reserves the right to withdraw or modify the student’s award based on the student’s fulfillment of required scholarship criteria.
