Florida First Responder Scholarship

The Florida First Responder Scholarship provides financial assistance to students pursuing careers in law enforcement, emergency medical services, or paramedics. Eligible students must be enrolled in an approved program, including Basic Recruit Training, EMT, or Paramedic programs, and must not be sponsored by an employer covering the cost of training. Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis after the Census Day. Funds may be used for in-state tuition, applicable fees, and up to $1,000 for additional expenses such as textbooks and uniforms.

Please note that Non-resident fees are not covered. Funds will be credited to student accounts once the application is approved, program enrollment is verified, and all other financial aid has been accounted for by the Financial Aid Office at The College of the Florida Keys.
