The Ocean Reef Community Foundation Building Bridges Scholarship

FALL 2025

The Ocean Reef Community Foundation has established the ORCF Building Bridges Scholarship, available to all students attending the Upper Keys Center at CFK. This scholarship provides a set award amount based on the student’s program of study to help cover remaining educational expenses such as tuition, lab fees, textbooks, and required course materials after other financial aid has been applied.

To be eligible, students must complete a 2025-26 FAFSA, have a minimum 2.0 GPA, and meet standards of satisfactory academic progress. Priority consideration will be given to those pursuing credentials in career technical education and professional skills programs.

Scholarship recipients are also required to:

1. Confirm registration in courses at The College of the Florida Keys in the term in which the scholarship is to be used.
2. Complete a minimum of 4 hours of volunteer service with the donor or The College of the Florida Keys Foundation if requested. (Details will be sent separately if/when applicable.)
4. Demonstrate and maintain the scholarship criteria and requirements.

The Foundation reserves the right to withdraw or modify the student’s award based on the student’s fulfillment of required scholarship criteria.
