Game Changer Hospitality & Culinary Scholarship
FALL 2026
The Game Changer Hospitality & Culinary Scholarship was established to support students completing an Associate in Science Hospitality & Ecotourism Management degree or an Associate in Science Culinary Management degree in two years. The scholarship amounts to full payment of the in-state portion of tuition charges and fees for up to two years (60 credits) after any Pell Grant money available to the student is applied to the student’s account (Pell Grant money will be utilized first and the Game Changer Hospitality & Culinary Scholarship will pay any remaining tuition and fees).
To be eligible applicants must:
1. Qualify as a Florida resident for tuition purposes.
2. Submit a current year FAFSA.
3. Maintain continuous, full-time (12+ credit hours) enrollment in fall and spring, and 6 credit hours in summer semesters.
4. Maintain a 2.5 or higher cumulative grade point average.
5. Participate in one advisor meeting each semester
6. Complete a two-year career-oriented internship with one of The College of the Florida Keys’ many partner organizations.
Scholarship Recipients are also required to:
1. Confirm registration in courses at The College of the Florida Keys in the term(s) in which the scholarship is to be used.
2. Complete a minimum of 8 hours of volunteer service with The College of the Florida Keys Foundation and/or approved charity if requested. (Details will be sent separately if/when applicable.)
3. Attend the annual CFK Scholarship Social at the Tennessee Williams Theatre on the William A. Seeker Campus in Key West during the fall semester. The event will occur on Tuesday, September 29, 2026. Invitations will be distributed closer to the event.
4. Demonstrate and maintain the scholarship criteria and requirements.
The Foundation reserves the right to withdraw or modify the student’s award based on the student’s fulfillment of required scholarship criteria.
