CFK Foundation Board of Directors Scholarship
FALL 2026
The College of the Florida Keys Foundation Board of Directors Scholarship will be awarded to The College of the Florida Keys students who have graduated from high school in the same academic year as their first semester at The College of the Florida Keys and who are committed to taking 12 credit hours in each of the Fall and Spring semesters for two consecutive academic years to complete their two-year degree at The College of the Florida Keys. Scholarships cover a set portion of tuition for up to 60 credit hours beginning the Fall semester of entry and through the Spring semester in the second academic year of continuous enrollment. Special consideration will be given to out-of-state students, students residing on campus in the residence hall, minority students, and students who demonstrate financial need through PELL eligibility.
Award Information
1. In-state students will receive $75 per credit hour for up to 60 credits (12cr/sem minimum requirement = $900 award each Fall and Spring semester). Out-of-state students will receive $150 per credit hour for up to 60 credits (12cr/sem minimum requirement = $1,800 award each Fall and Spring semester).
2. Applicants must have a complete 2026-27 FAFSA.
3. Applicants must be under the age of 21 and will have completed the 12th grade in the same academic year he/she enrolls at The College of the Florida Keys.
4. Award must be used for two consecutive academic years, beginning in the Fall Semester the year of matriculation and ending by the Spring Semester the next academic year.
5. Applicants must currently have and be able to maintain a cumulative 2.2 grade point average for the academic year.
6. Scholarship will be terminated should the student earn below a cumulative 2.2 GPA for an academic year.
7. Any unused funds will revert back to The College of the Florida Keys Foundation.
Scholarship Recipients are also required to:
1. Confirm registration in courses at The College of the Florida Keys in the term in which the scholarship is to be used.
2. Complete a minimum of 8 hours of volunteer service with The College of the Florida Keys Foundation and/or approved charity if requested. (Details will be sent separately if/when applicable.).
3. Attend the annual CFK Scholarship Social at the Tennessee Williams Theatre on the William A. Seeker Campus in Key West during the Fall semester. The event typically occurs in September, and details will be distributed when confirmed.
4. Demonstrate and maintain the scholarship criteria and requirements.
The Foundation reserves the right to withdraw or modify the student’s award based on the student’s fulfillment of required scholarship criteria.
