Marathon Shrine Club Scholarship
SPRING 2026
Available to degree-seeking students at the College of the Florida Keys. Eligible students must be enrolled in the marine engineering program (Professional Welder, Marine Technology, or Marine Engineering Management & Seamanship) OR the apprenticeship program OR the CFK Academy and attending CFK as a dual enrollment student in one of the programs listed.
Eligible students must have a complete 2025-26 FAFSA and meet standards of satisfactory academic progress. Award is for $1,000 ($500 in Spring + $500 in Summer) and scholarship monies may be used for tuition and fees, textbooks, or equipment at CFK for the awarded terms. Students must satisfy a minimum of 6 credit hours for the awarded terms and meet the following criteria: Students must have a 33001, 33050, or 33051 zip code at the time of applying.
Scholarship recipients are also expected to:
1. Confirm registration in courses at The College of the Florida Keys in the term in which the scholarship is to be used.
2. Attend the Annual College of the Florida Keys Scholarship Recipient & Donor Social at the Tennessee Williams Theatre on the William A. Seeker Campus in Key West during the Fall semester. The event typically occurs in September, and details will be distributed when confirmed.
3. Demonstrate and maintain the scholarship criteria and requirements, as well as sign & adhere to the Student Ambassador Guidelines & Policies.
The Foundation reserves the right to withdraw or modify the student’s award based on the student’s fulfillment of required scholarship criteria.
