BPW Pathway to Economic Stability Grant

Recognizing that many women seek careers that offer a “living wage” without the advantage of a college degree and also recognizing that the Florida State College certificate programs facilitate this process, we envisioned a scholarship program to support these worthy Florida women. The “Pathway Grant” became a reality through a pilot program offered in conjunction with Palm Beach State College Foundation. During the Fall term of 2024, three scholarships totaling $15,000 were made to women pursuing two-term certificates in medical related fields. Each recipient received a total of $5,000; i.e., $2,500 per term.

This grant is administered by the Education Foundation of the Florida Federation of Business and Professional Women’s Clubs, Inc. (EFFFBPW). It is made possible through the generosity of the late BPW/FL Past State President Jackie Fleener and other donors.
