BPW Pathway to Economic Stability Grant

The Pathway to Economic Stability Grant supports Florida women pursuing career and technical certificate programs that provide opportunities for stable employment and financial independence without requiring a college degree.

Administered by the Education Foundation of the Florida Federation of Business and Professional Women’s Clubs, Inc. (EFFFBPW), the grant provides financial assistance to eligible women enrolled in certificate programs at Florida state colleges. The program was established through the generosity of the late BPW/FL Past State President Jackie Fleener and other donors.

The grant began in 2024 through a pilot program with Palm Beach State College Foundation, awarding three scholarships of $5,000 each to women pursuing medical-related certificate programs. In 2025, the program transitioned to a referral model involving local BPW/FL organizations and community partners.

Applicant Criteria:

• Be a female Florida resident.
• Be enrolled in a certificate program lasting 2–6 terms at a Florida state college.
• Demonstrate financial need.
