The James Robert and Eleanor Ryan Parce Scholarship for Nursing
FALL 2026
The James Robert and Eleanor Ryan Parce Scholarship for Nursing is awarded to one student who has been accepted into the Associate of Science in Nursing Program at The College of the Florida Keys. This scholarship is based on merit and financial need. While not a requirement, preference will be given to Monroe County residents and students desiring to pursue a career as a flight nurse.
The scholarship provides up to $16,000 over two academic years, with coverage of up to $4,000 per semester. Funds are applied toward the student’s tuition and fees, as well as estimated textbook and uniform costs, based on enrollment. The award will not exceed the students’ current charges, and no funds will be issued beyond the balance owed.
To remain eligible each semester, the student must be enrolled in a minimum of 9 credit hours and maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.75. Eligible students must have completed 2026-27 FAFSA and meet standards of satisfactory academic progress.
This scholarship was made possible through the generous donation of John D. Parce in memory of his parents, James Robert and Eleanor Ryan Parce.
