Flores Empowered Nurses Award

FALL 2026

The Flores Empowered Nurses Award is available to degree seeking students who are currently enrolled in the Associate in Science in Nursing program. Eligible students must be Florida residents, maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0, demonstrate financial need, and be enrolled in at least nine credit hours.

Students must also meet standards of satisfactory academic progress and have a completed 2026-27 FAFSA on file. Scholarship funds may be applied toward tuition and fees at CFK for the upcoming semester. Scholarship monies can be used toward tuition and fees at CFK for upcoming semester.

Scholarship recipients are also required to:
1. Confirm registration in courses at CFK in the term in which the scholarship is to be used.
2. Complete a minimum of 4 hours of volunteer service to the donor and/or CFK Foundation if requested. (Details will be sent separately if/when applicable.)
3. Attend the annual CFK Scholarship Social at the Tennessee Williams Theatre on the William A. Seeker Campus in Key West during the fall semester. The event will occur on Tuesday, September 29, 2026. Invitations will be distributed closer to the event.
4. Demonstrate and maintain the scholarship criteria and requirements.

The Foundation reserves the right to withdraw or modify the student’s award based on the student’s fulfillment of required scholarship criteria.
