Computer Science Scholarship
Spring 2027
The Computer Science Scholarship is awarded to a full-time, degree-seeking student enrolled in the CGS 1100 Introduction to Computer Applications course at The College of the Florida Keys during the upcoming semester. Eligible students must have a complete 2026-27 FAFSA and a minimum overall GPA of 2.5.
The value of the scholarship is $1000, and the student must also be enrolled full-time in 12+ credits for the Spring 2027 semester.
Funds may be used towards tuition, matriculation fees and lab fees.
Scholarship recipients are also required to:
1. Confirm registration in courses at The College of the Florida Keys in the term in which the scholarship is to be used.
2. Complete a minimum of 4 hours of volunteer service with the donor and/or The College of the Florida Keys Foundation if requested. (Details will be sent separately if/when applicable.)
3. Attend the annual CFK Scholarship Social in Key West during the Fall semester. The event typically occurs in September, and details will be distributed when confirmed.
4. Demonstrate and maintain the scholarship criteria and requirements.
The Foundation reserves the right to withdraw or modify the student’s award based on the student’s fulfillment of required scholarship criteria.
