Florida Bay's Future Protector Scholarship
Spring 2027
The Florida Bay’s Future Protector Scholarship is available to degree-seeking undergraduate students pursuing an Associate in Science in Marine Environmental Technology or Bachelor of Science in Marine Resource Management. Eligible students must be U.S. citizens, Monroe County residents, and Florida residents for tuition purposes. Applicants must also have a completed 2026–27 FAFSA, demonstrate financial need, maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA, and meet standards of satisfactory academic progress. Community service and involvement are encouraged.
One $500 scholarship will be awarded for the award term. Scholarship monies can be applied toward tuition and fees at The College of the Florida Keys for the Spring 2027 semester.
Scholarship Recipients are also required to:
1. Confirm registration in courses at The College of the Florida Keys in the term in which the scholarship is to be used.
2. Complete a minimum of 4 hours of volunteer service to the donor and/or The College of the Florida Keys Foundation if requested. (Details will be sent separately if/when applicable.)
3. Attend the annual CFK Scholarship Social in Key West during the Fall semester. The event typically occurs in September, and details will be distributed when confirmed.
4. Demonstrate and maintain the scholarship criteria and requirements.
The Foundation reserves the right to withdraw or modify the student’s award based on the student’s fulfillment of required scholarship criteria.
